My name is Adam Ross, and I am the owner/operator of The Jogging Dog.
I am a husband, father, dog guy, outdoor enthusiast and entrepreneur
I have lived in Cochrane for the last 10 years, and along the Bow Corridor for the last 22. I have always worked in outdoor settings over the years; as a guide, instructor and adventure therapist. My personal passion is about moving in the outdoors, be it on my feet, on a bike or on skis. The chance to escape to a trail somewhere, has always been one of my greatest pleasures.
Wherever these trails have taken me, there has often been with a canine companion at my side. There has always been a dog around to get me out the door and to help keep me active. These adventures have largely taken place while running.
My intention is to bring your dogs joy, through running and hiking, while helping to keep them happy and healthy.
It doesn’t matter if your dog participates in one of our group outings, or is more of a soloist, we are happy to meet them and get out on the trails together.
For a few years now, I have had the desire to start a business, to grow something local that is of service to our community. From this desire, a love of dogs and a passion for the trail, The Jogging Dog was born.
Here my three full time employees, Dodger, Bandit and Frodo. They are always excited to get out on the trails with new friends.
